The limited number of at-large or wildcard entries in the race will be filled at the race director's discretion by Nov. 1, 2024. This allows for some otherwise late entries to be filled based on merit of past backyard ultra results or similarly notable achievements.

All other entries in the race (up to a maximum of 75 participants) will be filled in first-come, first-served order based on registration, and then from a wait list which will be processed in order.
