Congratulations to Julija on a number of accomplishments. While setting a new personal best of 54 hours/225 miles, she also broke Scott Martin's previous course record of 49 loops from 2024. She also broke her own Lithuanian world record for longest backyard ultra performance. And she became the first female winner of the Banana Slug Backyard Ultra.

Congratulations as well to Scott Martin and Eric Yan who delivered a "co-assist" by each completing the course 53 times in under 53 hours, covering a total distance of 220.83 miles. Without them, Julija could not have done what she did, (she would have instead won the race after only 43 hours).

Of special mention this year is that 20 runners completed the 24th loop (100 miles). This breaks the course record from 2024 when 15 runners reached that milestone. Each of these runners earned a 100-mile coin for this accomplishment. Congratulations to these 20: Pam Smith, Gaelen Watt, Kevin Moore, Barney Spix, Beth Kelty, Daemon Anastas, Eric Neill, Jacob Goltry, Scott Martin, Andrea Bernal, Phil Daniels, Zach Gingerich, Abe Kane, Eric Yan, Matt Merritt, Trent Binford-Walsh, Lizzy Fowler, Saulius Eidukas, Stephen Maher, and Julija Šorytė.

Congratulations to all 61 runners that participated! We counted 14 runners that beat a personal record by completing more loops than in any previous backyard ultra, (and some additional runners also set a new personal record by running further than they ever had before in any single event). We hope that many will come back in the future for yet another chance to ring the PR bell.

You can also view a recording of the live stream of the race. The stream is broken up into a separate video for roughly every 6 hours of the race. There were some technical difficulties resulting in the video pausing frequently throughout the stream (although audio continues). Our apologies if any key moments of the race were missed because of this.

The table below gives final results for every runner. Click/tap on any column header to sort (or reverse sort) by that column. Also see the results spreadsheet for the times for every runner on every loop of the race. Note: The PR's indicated in the table below are based solely on previous backyard ultra results, and do not necessarily indicate the furthest distance ever run.

Note: Each loop in the table below represents 4.167 miles run in 1 hour. For example, a 24-loop result equals 100 miles run, and 54 loops equals 225 miles.
